License activation

Activate NotiFerry on this Mac

If you purchased a license, use the key delivered privately by Lemon Squeezy inside the Mac app.

Already have NotiFerry installed?

If you are already running the 7-day trial on this Mac, you do not need to reinstall the app. Click the NotiFerry icon in the macOS menu bar (or in the setup or dashboard window), open Settings → General → Trial & license, paste the license key from your Lemon Squeezy email receipt, and click Activate.

1. Download the exact release

Download version 0.1.6 (7) for macOS 15.0 or later. The notarized DMG is served from the same NotiFerry site origin, or install with Homebrew: brew install --cask n2ctech/tap/notiferry.

2. Install the app

  1. Open the DMG and drag NotiFerry to Applications.
  2. Open the copy in Applications so Gatekeeper checks the Developer ID and notarization.
  3. Complete the read-only Notification Center folder selection and ntfy phone setup, or click Already bought a license? Enter key… at the top of the setup window.

3. Enter the license inside NotiFerry

Find the license key in the Lemon Squeezy purchase email or receipt. In NotiFerry, click Settings in the setup or dashboard window (or from the menu-bar icon) → General → Trial & license, paste the key, and choose Activate. You can activate before or after completing the 4-step phone setup. The key is never read from this page, never belongs in a URL, and should not be sent to support.

Activation uses one of the 2 Mac slots and stores the key and activation instance in macOS Keychain. A successful validation is cached for 24 hours; offline use is limited to seven days after the most recent successful validation.

4. Move or reset a Mac

Before moving a slot, use Reset setup and local content while online. NotiFerry attempts to release the paid activation, then removes setup, ntfy secrets, settings, and queued content. Trial history is intentionally retained. If deactivation fails, the reset stops rather than stranding the server-side activation silently.
